County Tipperary
September 9 & 11, 2001

The folly, a whimsical structure, is intended to blend in with the countryside
with all designs drawn from nature. This cottage is to appear
to have sprung up from the earth; every window and door is slightly different from each other,
veranda supports have the appearance of growing from the ground and vines grow up
around the ground floor eaves. Inside the house, fireplace surrounds look like cut logs,
wallpaper is of rustic scenes, curtains and room fabrics match in a woodland pattern,
and furniture is also hand made slightly irregular based on nature. Even the china has an
outdoors pattern on it. No expense has been spared.
