We crossed the Arno to the side called the “Oltrarno” and began to climb to the Piazzale Michelangelo. This is the Porta San Niccolo which you climb alongside as you go up the hill.

Abbiamo attraversato l'Arno sul lato chiamato «L’oltrarno» e abbiamo iniziato a scalare verso Piazzale Michelangelo. Questa è la Porta San Niccolo che si incontra mentre si sale la collina.
