This is my favorite example of why strict interpretation of the Bible is a bad idea. In Exodus, Moses’ face is described with the word “qaran,” which can mean either “shining with light” or “horns.” This is the Moses Fountain (with horns) which was a pet project of Pope Sixtus V.

Questo è il mio esempio preferito del perché l'interpretazione stretta della Bibbia è un'idea cattiva. Nell'Esodo, la faccia di Mosè è descritta con la parola «qaran,» che può significare «brillando con la luce» o «i corni.» Questa è la Fontana di Mosè (con i corni) che era il progetto favorito del Papa Sisto V.
